As the Senior Engineering Manager of the UIP Frontend PaaS team, you will lead a team of experts dedicated to maintaining and improving this critical platform, ensuring it continues to deliver exceptional performance and reliability at scale.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Manage team workload, balancing run-the-business (RTB) activities and development productivity (DevProd) efforts.
Oversee the operation and continuous improvement of the team’s key services.
Ensure platform performance, reliability, and security.
Monitor and analyze platform performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborate with product teams to integrate and optimize frontend infrastructure, understanding their needs and ensure platform support.
Lead the team in responding to incidents, providing expert advice and ensuring timely resolution.
Develop and implement processes to reduce the frequency and impact of incidents.
Define the roadmap for platform capabilities, and communicating these capabilities and improvements to stakeholders.
Experience running high reliability, large-scale services - 10billion req/mo at 99.99% reliability
Experience working with AWS & Kubernetes
Experience working with Node.js and Typescript
