Overview

We’re is seeking a Benefits Strategy & Enablement, Program Manager who is a dynamic individual able to drive innovative, transformational benefits initiatives while partnering with the team and internal stakeholders to tackle complex business challenges. This hands-on role requires strategic thinking, balancing big-picture vision with attention to detail. While experience in Total Rewards, particularly in Benefits, is preferred, it is not a requirement.

Success in this role means delivering impactful results through others and yourself, owning the transformation of our benefits programs by implementing forward-thinking solutions that align with our People Team strategy and enhance Atlassian’s employee benefits value proposition.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Owning the transformation of our benefits programs by identifying and implementing innovative solutions that address evolving business needs. You’ll evaluate current programs, propose enhancements, and drive new benefits offerings that align with our strategic goals, ensuring their successful adoption across the organisation.

  • Contribute to program/policy design, incubation, and launch of targeted new benefits to enhance our employees’ experience, growth, and impact.

  • Manage the execution and delivery of benefits projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the People Team and the organisation's overall goals.

  • Identify opportunities to increase effectiveness through innovative solutions and bring them to life within the Benefits portfolio.

  • Monitor and advocate for global trends and emerging best practices to ensure our benefits programs remain competitive and aligned with market expectations.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to inform, influence, and help drive key benefits projects aligned with our shared goals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven project management experience; previous Total Rewards or Benefits experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing programs and driving organisational change through enablement.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to listen to business needs and drive change through collaboration and influence.

  • Systems-oriented approach to analysing and understanding root causes, implementing holistic solutions that optimise efficiency and employee experience.

  • Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity, and able to manage competing priorities.

  • Pragmatic, efficient, and creative problem-solver with the ability to drive issues to resolution.

  • Sensitive to the dynamics of working across cultures and time zones; ability to relate to diverse personalities and backgrounds, while remaining committed to deadlines.

  • Experience working with Workday HRIS or other benefits administration systems.
