Atlassian is seeking an exceptional Solutions Engineer who is passionate about addressing complex customer challenges and securing significant enterprise deals. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the enterprise sales team and regional channel partners to gain a deep understanding of our customers' needs. You will strategize on navigating various scenarios, deliver compelling demonstrations, and ultimately drive business closure. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our solutions effectively meet the demands of our clients, contributing to their success and the growth of Atlassian.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Technical Engagement: Partner with sales to engage in customer discovery, identifying business challenges and desired outcomes while mapping them to Atlassian’s value propositions and solutions.

  • Opportunity Identification: Identify opportunities for cross-product and solution expansion to maximize customer value.

  • Technical Problem Solving: Investigate and understand client pain points to craft meaningful solutions.

  • Product Expertise: Act as a product expert, clearly articulating and demonstrating how Atlassian’s software drives collaboration and productivity.

  • Value-Driven Demonstrations: Deliver engaging demonstrations showcasing how Atlassian’s solutions empower teams and drive outcomes.

  • Technical Sales Leadership: Guide customers on best practices and implementation strategies to achieve success with Atlassian software.

  • Sales Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with sales counterparts to improve engagement and optimize the sales cycle.

  • Customer Advocacy: Gather customer feedback and competitive insights, sharing them with product teams to influence improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Presales, Solution Engineering, or working in customer facing roles for technology vendors or technology driven organizations.

  • Deep knowledge of Atlassian’s product suite and ability to articulate its value in solving complex business challenges.

  • Proven experience delivering impactful product/solution demonstrations and leading technical evaluations.

  • Ability to identify solution expansion opportunities and align with customer goals.

  • Highly organized, able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence technical and business stakeholders, with the ability to present to and persuade varied audiences.

  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for solving problems and empowering customers, along with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach focused on execution and continuous improvement.
