Atlassian is seeking a driven and experienced Global Mobility Operations Lead to join our team, reporting to the Head of People Operations. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract to cover Parental Leave.
This leadership position will be responsible for designing and implementing effective global mobility programs, policies, and strategies. This includes immigration, relocation and assignment programs, with a focus on employee-centric mobility experience, operational excellence and compliance. This role also involves managing an amazing global team of Global Mobility Managers and Specialists.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Setting Global Mobility strategy and direction for global immigration and relocations
Managing a global team with direct reports in Australia, USA, Poland and the Philippines
Setting Global Mobility OKRs and being accountable for related team performance
Managing Global Mobility budgets and multiple Global Mobility vendors
Being the Global Mobility escalation point of contact for for policy, exceptions and processes
Overseeing ad-hoc projects e.g. company footprint expansion, M&A, company initiatives, vendor RFI/RFP
Partnering closely with Leadership from internal teams on all Global Mobility related items - Talent Acquisition, Internal Mobility, HR, Team Anywhere, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Tax, Equity, Compensation, Benefits, Business Travel, HRIT
Managing Atlassian's Global Mobility profile in a constantly shifting immigration and travel landscape; partnering with our immigration vendors and internal teams including Corporate Affairs and Crisis Management to influence immigration policy and reform and respond appropriately to global events
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of relevant working experience in Global Mobility, global immigration experience preferred
Demonstrated experience managing a global team, with strong leadership and coaching skills
Proven experience managing global vendor relationships
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
High level of integrity and discretion
Ability to prioritise workload and competing deadlines
Enthusiastic, positive and keen to learn and develop
Workday experience a plus
