Dev Foundations team is dedicated to provide awesome tools to enable Atlassian developers a unified experience by providing top-tier developer environments and development lifecycle tools. This empowers developers to adopt best practices with minimal effort, and enhance their overall experience.
Our team is responsible for building and owning the mono-repo, libraries and infrastructure such as CI/CD that help our Product teams build great user-experiences and interfaces. This includes building, supporting and ensuring the cloud-based development environments, services and tools are fast and reliable for our engineers to use every day.

Lead, hire, and grow a team of high-performing engineers, including technical leaders.
Guide the technical roadmap for scaling and evolving services, working with leaders across the organization and Principal Engineers/Architects.
Accountable for reliability, security, performance, and scale of all the services you own.
Drive adoption of your team’s services across the company.
Drive cultural change through technical excellence, quality, and efficiency.
Support teams in delivering large projects with complex dependencies and multiple
Proven track record of delivering projects on time, in scope, and within quality goals in an Agile environment.
5+ years managing and growing engineering teams
Experience providing feedback and coaching to engineers and technical leaders.
Excellent interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience building SaaS platform and software with a focus on operational excellence and reliability.
Experience with scalable, high-performance, highly available systems.
Experience operating mono-repos, and supporting continuous integration systems
Strong understanding of using metrics to guide technical and business decisions.
Familiarity with security, privacy, or compliance systems is a plus
Experience structuring and coaching teams for success and cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to build trusted advisor relationships with senior business and technical leaders.
