As a Senior Product Designer you will play a critical role in shaping the design strategy and execution for Atlassian’s Marketplace.The Atlassian Ecosystem and Marketplace enables our customers to do more with Atlassian products by extending and customising them to suit their own unique ways of working. Makers use our developer platform, Forge, to build apps and extensions, which they can then list on the Marketplace for customers to easily discover and install.
We design experiences that help customers discover, evaluate, and adopt apps seamlessly, while empowering partners with tools and insights to grow their businesses.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create user-centric designs that align with Atlassian’s strategic goals.
Develop prototypes to bring to life new ideas and experiences to influence what should be, and help shape our future roadmaps.
Lead design projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality and cohesive user experiences.
Utilize data-driven insights to inform design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing.
Develop and maintain prototypes and patterns that enhance the scalability and consistency of experiences.
Engage with customers and partners to gather insights and feedback to inform design improvements.
Qualifications
Several (5+yrs) years of professional product design experience
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design
Proficiency in Figma including working with tokens, variables, prototypes and animation
Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate visions, design concepts and decisions
Ability to design, conduct and apply user research and testing to inform design decisions
AI Fluency (nice to have): Comfortable designing AI products that leverage AI, and using AI tools in the design process.
